    Description

The 2001 National Paper Doll convention was held in Eugene, Oregon and the themes was "The North Wood Beckons".  The beautiful artwork for the entire boxed set was done by Michele Thorp.  Many hours were put in by the Seattle Paper Doll Club to hand cut and assemble these as souvenirs for the convention.  The Pacific Northwest Indian has a very ingenious stand on the back and comes with 6 masks and a totem pole.  One of the masks opens to reveal another mask.  These have tabs on the backs of them to slide over the head.  There is one doll that slides into the 10 overlays of scenes from the local regions.  Included is a booklet that explains details for each scene and dress.  Two of the scenes have a pop out feature.  The box was also handmade, measures 9.5" x 6.25" and the only flaw to mention is a spot on the top.  The entire set is still in very good condition.  The art and creativity that went into this set is just incredible!!!!
I've bought my huge collection from estate sales,  from other collectors and here on eBay.  I don't know the previous storage history.  My collection is stored in a smoke/pet free area in my home, with a dehumidifier running 24/7.  People smoked back then, I have a poor sense of smell at my age and I don't know if that lingers.  I try to list all flaws with the paper dolls that I sell.
I only ship to the USA.  I usually take orders to the post office on Tuesday and Friday mornings by 10 AM eastern time.
