Description
Queen Holden started her work on different sets of Colonial paper dolls in the early 1960s for Platt and Munk. She also did a set for The Williamsburg Restoration Project that was an 8 doll set in 1967, using the same dolls plus some. All of these boxed sets are highly collectable since it was some of her last published work since she was in her 80s by then. This is a beautiful boxed set with 4 dolls, stands and costumes. Please see photos for content and condition. My huge collection of paper dolls has been purchased from estates and on eBay. I don't know their storage history. My collection is kept in a smoke/pet free area of my home, with a dehumidifier running 24/7. People did/do smoke, I have a poor sense of smell at my age and I don't know if that lingers. I try to list all flaws with the paper dolls that I sell.
