VTG PAPER DOLL GREETING CARDS BOOK 1946 CHRISTMAS by EVE ROCKWELL SAALFIELD

Description

Eve Rockwell worked her artistic magic for Saalfield in the 1940s and 50s.  Her style is easily recognizable in the hundreds of greeting cards that she did for the top greeting card companies of those eras.  The "Make Your Own Cards" booklets were created by Rockwell for Easter, Christmas and Valentines Day.  If you have a high grade copier, these are fun to send to friends and family after copying them on cardstock.  These sweet booklets are priceless little snapshots from the past, when life and times were much simpler and these were used as a family activity!!!
"Make Your Own Christmas Cards" by Eve (Rockwell) was published by the Saalfield Company in 1946 and the stock number is #2547.  This has been cut and I'm only counting 20 of the 26 cards mentioned on the cover. It has the envelopes to make as well.  This measure 13.5" x 9.5". There is some spine wear and a few tears at the edges of the pages. There is some age tanning.  The entire booklet shown in the photos.
My paper doll collection is purchased from estates, other collectors and on eBay.  I don't know the previous storage history.  My collection is kept in a smoke/pet free area of my home with a dehumidifier running 24/7.  People did smoke back then, I have a poor sense of smell at my age and that could linger without my knowledge.  I welcome any questions that you might have.
I only ship to the USA.  I usually take orders to the post office on Tuesday and Friday mornings by 10 AM eastern time.
