Rare Antique Newburyport Silver Company Weighted Sterling Open Sugar & Creamer Pitcher Set E.U.C.
The Newburyport Silver Company, which operated out of Keene New Hampshire (U.S.A.), had a rather brief existence; having served their customers for the period 1905-1914. Needless to say, their wares have become scarce and hard to find, and examples in fair or better condition quite rare. This weighted sterling open sugar and creamer pitcher set features a Victorian style with maybe a hint of Art Deco. The open sugar has a handle on either end and measures 3 1/4" tall x 3" across and 4 1/2" wide (handle to handle). The creamer measures 3 1/4" tall x 3" across and 4 1/2" wide (from handle to spout). The set is in excellent used antique condition with only minor cosmetic wear.
