Description
For your consideration is this extremely rare program from the very short lived Trevett Theatre in Chicago. Dated February 14th, 1910, this program was made right around the time the theater opened. According to my research, it was slated to open on February 7th. I have found no record of any program being offered for this theatre on eBay (including Worthpoint) and have found online record of only three other known copies. This program features "Rossow's Midgets" as well as an announcement of a replacement of an act (see the corresponding picture for the image given. The theatre, which witnessed problems between his owner and labor unions, lasted for about a year and later became the famed Empress Theatre. The program is in good shape. It features a beautiful olive green color (that color adorned both the inside and outside of the building by design) It was folded in half at one point as reflected in the pictures. Some minor foxing and where from age and storage.
