    Description

This is a Wonderful 19th Century Sterling Silver Cream & Sugar by Ford, Turpper & Behan.
I purchased this from the Washington Safety Deposit Auction a few years ago and it came with a S.P. Tray.
I am including the silver plate tray as it is a period piece and they probably been a married set for over 100
years now, not that it matches perfectly but they look nice together and that's how I got it.
Ford, Turpper & Behan produced fine silver items 1866-1867 in New York, NY. Later they became just Ford & Turpper which lasted till 1874.
Both the Creamer & Sugar are marked on the bottom Ford Turpper & Behan ENG' STERLING 925-1000 24.
I believe 24 is either the model number or the pattern number.
This set has great little Cherub / Putti Heads underneath the handles!
Both items have a monogram EC to EML Sept. 18th 1867.
The Creamer is approximately 5.25" Tall by 2.75" Wide and weighs 6.06 T-oz.
The Sugar Bowl is approximately 5.5" across (From Handle to Handle) the bowl is 4" Diameter by 5" Tall (With Lid) 3.25" Tall (Without Lid), and weighs a total of 9.66 T-oz.
The Silver Plate Tray is approximately 8 1/8" Diameter, and weighs 10.06 T-oz.
This item is being sold AS IS. Both the Cream and are alittle wobbly on the bases, the sugar bowl more than the creamer.
