Antique Simpson Hall & Miller Sterling Silver Creamer & Sugar 5.3 Ozt

Offered in this auction is a nice set of two, a creamer and a sugar sterling silver set. These were produced by Simpson, Hall and Miller after 1895 and before 1905, when the company was sold
to another manufacturer. The creamer and sugar are about 2 1/2 inches in height and the sugar bowl is about 6 inches wide, including the handles. The creamer is about 5 1/4 inches wide including the
handle. The sugar bowl itself is almost 3 inches wide. The creamer bowl itself is about 2 1/2 inches
in width. Both are hallmarked ‘Sterling’ and the Simpson, Hall & Miller hallmark of the ‘Knight’ helmet
with the ‘S’ enclosed in the makers mark. Both have a couple small dings. With one ding in the handle of the creamer. The set remains very attractive with very good use. The set has some weight
to the both with over 5.3 Troy ounces of Sterling silver. Or 165 grams. Not only a useful set in your
dining room table, Silver is a great hedge against inflation.
