Description
This is one of two simular pieces of marked 1844 Danish Sterling silver I am listing at this time. Both are marked with the assay mark of three towers ( 836/1000) Danish sterling that dates them to 1844. Both have the PRH assay mastermark for Peter R Hinnerup This is a claw footed ribbed creamer. It measures 4 1/2" tall and 6 1/2" from spout across the handle. It has a very ornate handle and is raised on 4 claw feet. Weight approx. 199 grams. Engraved on the side AFD den 16 Mai 1845. Marked on the bottom with the three towers mark assayers mark and a kneeling archer is unknown from my research. All marks are pictured so you can do your own research. It has beautifully ornate handles on a ribbed body and foot. Condition is very good with a few minor dents and no scratches or repairs.
