Product Description
This impressive antique George V sterling silver cream jug has plain panelled helmet shaped form onto a knopped pedestal and spreading panelled foot.
The shaped rims of the body and foot of the jug are embellished with an applied scrolling design in the Art Nouveau style.
This fine example of antique silverware is fitted with an impressive Art Nouveau style bifurcating narrow loop handle ornamented with scrolling sockets and thumbpiece.
Condition
This antique cream jug is a very good gauge of silver, fine quality and in excellent condition.
The item has been professionally polished and is in presentation condition.
The applied decoration is very sharp.
Full hallmarks struck to the surface of the jug are all very clear.
Reflections in photographs may detract from the true representation of this antique silverware.
