    1950-60'S EBERHARD FABER "LINDA FASHION DESIGNER COLORED PENCIL SET" #5261  STILL SEALED
    I am still working on liquidating my late sisters collections and many of you who have been following my listings and I wish to THANK YOU, ALL!  Since I am not a collector I do have to apologize for my lack of knowledge on this subject.  If I have grossly misstated anything in the description it is fine if you want to correct me.  I am now working on a 'new' bundle of paper dolls and other items that I just took into my possession, have fun exploring them right along with me!!
    This set is #5261 that is titled "FASHION DESIGNER COLORING SET" AND HAS LINDA AS THE PAPER DOLL.  The box is still in the original plastic covering so I can not show you exactly what the box holds.  Printed on the box it lets me know there are: 20 COLOR-KEYED COSTUMES TO COLOR,  8 FULL LENGTH COLOR-KEYED PENCILS, THE PAPER DOLL LINDA IS 10 INCHES TALL, AND A PAIR OF METAL SCISSORS INCLUDED.  The company who made this Paper Doll Coloring Set was EBERHARD FABER TOY  & GAME CO. WHICH WAS A DIVISION OF EBERHARD FABER PEN & PENCIL CO., INC. THAT WAS LOCATED IN WILKES-BARRE, PENNSYLVANIA.  Once the clothing for the doll is colored then it has to be neatly cut from the paper.  Inside the box there is supposed to be a square piece of 'Holdit', a reusable plastic adhesive.  Small pieces of this adhesive is to be put onto the back of the clothing for the paper doll and then the clothes will adhere to the paper doll LINDA.  This set would have been made in the late 1950's or 1960's.  Linda looks a bit like a Barbie doll to me.  The original box for this set does have some minor flaws.  The plastic covering for the set is worn is some places where there are tears in the plastic.     PLEASE BE SURE TO KEEP WATCHING AS I JUST ACQUIRED SOME MORE PAPER DOLLS FROM THIS COLLECTION!!
