BASE OF BOX HAS YELLOW FRAYING PAPER COVERING AROUND ALL SIDES AND ON BOTTOM. BOTTOM OF BOX IS CAVED IN AND HAS ONE CORNER WITH HOLE IN IT THAT NEEDS REPAIR. HAVE INCLUDED A COPY OR AN ORIGINAL CARD THAT WOULD HAVE ORIGINALLY COME WITH THE SET.

    1942 ADVANCE GAMES, INC. "A DRESS A DAY" 3 PAPER DOLL SET UNUSED!!!
    I am still working on liquidating my late sisters collections and many of you who have been following my listings and I wish to THANK YOU, ALL!  Since I am not a collector I do have to apologize for my lack of knowledge on this subject.  If I have grossly misstated anything in the description it is fine if you want to correct me.  I am now working on a 'new' bundle of paper dolls and other items that I just took into my possession, have fun exploring them right along with me!!
    Meet the 3 included Paper Dolls in this set: LYNN, BETTE, & GRETA

    This is set number 466
    that was made in 1942
    .  i FIND IT AMAZING THAT THIS SET IS STILL COMPLETE AND UNUSED!!  The 3 Paper Dolls and all of their clothing has yet to be punched out of the original cards.  The clothing is made so Embroidery accents can be added to the clothing by either sewing the included embroidery thread, a spool of peach colored thread, and even 12 strands of beads can be applied.  I do see that one strand of the beads is missing a few of the beads.  Each of the paper dolls is 7 3/4 inches tall and they each come with an attachable easel stand.  I find one signature on the set that must have been the designer of the set and is marked "Elizabeth R."  Advance Games, Inc. was located in New York, N.Y.  The original card is missing from the set and I have made a copy of one I have found on the internet and am including it as well.  The card gives the set number, set name and the instructions on how to play with the set.  It appears that this set was entered into competition at one of the Paper Doll Conventions by my sister's husband.  He did receive an Honorable Mention for the entry.
