This is a
RARE
UNUSED
COUNTRY WEEKEND with KATHY and JILL
paper doll book.
It is an unusual book because it doesn’t mention the publisher (Reuben H. Lilja) and is not dated.
According to Mary Young’s Paper Doll Collector’s Guide, it is based on the Children’s Press paper doll book that was published in 1946.

COMPLETE
& is
NOT
a
REPRODUCTION.
There are 2 unpunched paper dolls: Kathy & Jill.
The paper dolls have a front and back.
The idea is to paste the front to the back “for double strength,” which is quite unique!
There are
4 pages
of colorful uncut clothes.
Each page is identified as to the types of outfits: riding, swimming, fishing, and dancing.
Each page also has drawings of the theme.
This book is approximately 10 3/4 X 12 1/4 inches.

As an adult collector, my paper dolls have been stored in a smoke-free, climate-controlled room in my house.

CONDITION:
The paper dolls and clothes are in overall
MINT
condition.
The front/back covers have some minor shelf wear, mostly near the edges.
