"FOR BOYS-FOR GIRLS FELT-O-GRAM THE YEAR ROUND TOY" PLAY SET
I am still working on liquidating my late sisters collections and many of you who have been following my listings and I wish to THANK YOU, ALL!  Since I am not a collector I do have to apologize for my lack of knowledge on this subject.  If I have grossly misstated anything in the description it is fine if you want to correct me.  I am now working on a 'new' bundle of paper dolls and other items that I just took into my possession, have fun exploring them right along with me!!
This set is unique as the doll has a special surface where the felt material CLOTHING just stays on the doll magically.  The included FELT-O-GRAM BOOK OF DESIGNS has many designs and things to make such as: Doll Quilts, Animals, Trains, Airships, Wagons, Flowers and other Toys to create just using the many colorful Felt pieces included in this set.  The set includes a 15 1/2 by 11 1/2 inch Black Felt surface to create all of these wonders.  The included design book has drawings of many items that can be built using the felt that I think this could entertain a child or an adult for hours.  The inside pages of the book has pulled away from the staples that bound the book together.  The Paper Doll in the set however is actually a VELVA DOLL that was made by Kingston Products Corporation.  The doll's name is JILL and she is a 13-inch tall paper doll that does appear to have some repair work done on her neck.  Jill's clothing is all made of Felt and she has had some color added to her eyes, mouth, nails, and socks of the doll.  This set is not mentioned in the reference guide I am using, but the company is noted for manufacturing a number of children's activity sets in the 1930's.
The original box to this set has had some repair work done to the lid and base of the box and all have been lined with brown paper tape.   PLEASE BE SURE TO KEEP WATCHING AS I JUST ACQUIRED SOME MORE PAPER DOLLS FROM THIS COLLECTION!!
